This calendar is an easy and simple way to schedule your pins in advance. Free and useful for 1-10 pins a day. This visual digital planner for Pinterest is especially helpful if you are just getting started pinning your content! See your pin layout for the whole year!
I needed some sort of digital planner to schedule my pins out, and I was not yet in a place where I wanted to pay for a scheduler such as Tailwinds or Later. I toyed with the idea of using google calendar or another calendar app.
However, I needed the visual layout of my pins to help keep me organized. I also wanted to be able to copy and paste the pin title, description, and URL since everything would have to be posted manually. So I came up with a simple spreadsheet to do just that!
I would love to share my spreadsheet in case it can also help anyone else out there get started on pinterest!
can you Print this Calendar?
You can print this calendar, however it is designed to be used on your phone or computer. I think the most helpful part about it, is being able to copy and paste your title, description, and URL so you don’t have to retype it multiple times.
It’s also created using Google Sheets so you can access it from your desktop or phone.
How do you download this Calendar?
First, you will need to use Google Sheets. If you are not familiar, Google Sheets is a free spreadsheet app very similar to excel. You can access it online in your internet browser or download it as an app on your mobile device.
Once you are signed into your Gmail account, all you have to do it use the download form below to receive a link in your email to have access to the spreadsheet.
Once you open that email, click on the link. You will be taken to a spreadsheet that is “View Only”. You will need to make a copy of this spreadsheet, and the new copy will be all yours to edit and fill with your own pins!
Here is a series of screenshots to guide you through the process if you are on a mobile device:

Using Your Pinterest Calendar
Now you are ready to schedule your pins! You can also rename your spreadsheet whatever you would like and customize it to your liking. There are directions included on the second tab to guide you through the different elements.
The nice thing about Google Sheets is that it is synced instantly across any device that is signed into your google account. It’s very seamless to switch between the desktop and app versions.
You can also copy and paste the months to plan as far in advance as you’d like. You could even schedule your seasonal content for the next 10 years! This is what I need to help visualize what I will do when I’m creating pins in bulk.
Items to Note
As with anything free, there are some drawbacks to using Google Sheets. You can’t copy your pin image directly from Sheets. You will have to upload it from its original file. This isn’t a huge deal, you just have to look for your image again. If your file organization is better than mine, you won’t have too much trouble.
The other issue is that this spreadsheet may not work for you once your content outgrows it. Once you have enough content that you are pinning more than 10+ pins a day, this can look more confusing than helpful. At that point though, your business will be grown enough to be able to get that Tailwinds subscription!
